- Association of Independent Consumer Credit Counseling Agencies: The AICCCA is a member-supported national association representing non-profit credit counseling companies that provide consumer credit counseling, debt management, and financial education services. Consumers can find a directory of accredited consumer credit counseling agencies on the site and there are monthly press releases on a variety of topics relevant to consumers.
- National Foundation for Credit Counseling: The NFCC is another site where consumers can find a directory of the credit counseling services that belong to the organization. Housing counseling, to address the deepening foreclosure crisis, is available at almost all NFCC member agencies, and there's comprehensive information on credit counseling and how NFCC member agencies can make a difference to the consumer.
